Jim Pieper
Jim Pieper has extensive experience in structured transactions involving corporate, municipal and tax-exempt finance, including securities law disclosure issues. As a scholar, teacher and practitioner, Jim has a thorough background in constitutional law, including the law of elections and voting, church-state issues and inter-governmental relations.
Jim was previously associated with a national law firm of more than 300 attorneys before taking leave from the practice of law to pursue a doctoral degree in political science, which he obtained from Duke University in 1999. Jim served as a Senior Legislative Aide in the Nebraska Legislature from 1997 to 2006.
