Kermit Brashear
Kermit Brashear has served as general and special counsel to a number of businesses and organizations during his more than 35 year practice. In such capacity, Kermit has negotiated multiple mergers and acquisitions, managed asset dispositions, conducted significant litigation and provided general representation. Kermit has also had primary responsibility for several multimillion dollar divestitures, liquidations and dissolutions involving multiple locations nationally.
Kermit served as a part-time Senator in the Nebraska Legislature from 1994 to 2006. He was Speaker thereof from 2005 to 2006, having previously chaired the Judiciary Committee from 1996 to 2004. Kermit presently serves on the Board of Directors of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
