- Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (NIRMA). Fifty-seven (57) separate actions against 15 different counties of the State of Nebraska assigned for defense in federal and state courts have resulted in 47 dismissals by Demurrer, Motion to Dismiss or Motion for Summary Judgment, six of which were affirmed on appeal, four by the United States Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and two by the Nebraska Supreme Court; seven settlements and dismissals; two defendant verdicts and one plaintiff verdict ($75,000).
